Wow what a lovely kit!! The colours ebb and flow like flames in a fire but with many different
These colours are the ones that remind of my lovely nan. In the 70s she had a static caravan in Evesham and it was mustard deluxe!! I adore combining mustard with absolutely any colour but have plumped for a "diffifcult" brown. Because hey it was the 70's.
Talking about colours you will notice as you get in to this kit that the instructions are in a generic grey colour. That’s because it is hard to get the fade that the combination of wools create on a chart. Let me introduce you to the queen of this kit, your wool card!
The wool card shows you the colour order and also the yarns that need to be combined for each row. We are stitching with three lengths of crewel wool each time to give us the fantastic yarn fade that this kit is so proud of.
This design benefits from slow stitching, do not worry if you cannot see all of the colours you are stitching with as it adds to the unique effect of the design.
Your kit includes
Zweigart Canvas in 12 count, John James needles, Appletons Crewel wool in fantastic neon shades, stitch chart, instructions and your friend for life the WOOL CARD.
Your masterpiece measure approx 35cm square and is a delight, I'll say it again is it a delight.
This kit is part of our Fading Flames range and is called Neon Notes because it sure is neon!
