I don't think I've ever grown out of my "Goth" stage, I still love all things skull related. I am fascinated by arches and the maths behind them so this lumbar sized bargello stitch kit combines tall arches and peaked points along with a lurking vampire in the pattern (only joking!).
I adore the striking green amongst the blues creating an interesting focal point. These colours remind me of a 1970s wall paper we had that was all paisley swirls and William Morris like delights. We had the blue colourway and most exciting for me was that the Doctors had in a pink colour way - see how I've completed stolen this idea in the other Gothic Lumbar design.
The kit contains everything you need to complete the stitching, how you finish your work is up to you. You may prefer to see this art work on your wall alongside some architectural drawings.
12 count Zweigart interlock canvas, Anchor Tapestry wools, John James Needle, bright and bold instructions.
The finished stitching measures approx. 43cm by 24cm
