I don't know about you but sometimes it feels like I'm going round and round in circles when I should really be going in a straight line.
When I get like this I often think of Piccadilly Circus in London and how Eros stands erect and unflustered right in the middle of it all!
This design uses Bargello to create circus "rings" that are joined together and look like they could spin off the canvas at any moment. But look again and maybe it is not the circus rings you see but large diamonds! A little circus magic! A trick of the eye!
With many Bargello designs you complete a full row or a foundation row and then follow the design row by row. This design is a little different – you complete the circus rings first and then fill in the spaces to create a square piece of stitching. This design looks equally great as a cushion or as a framed piece of art. The choice is yours.
I really hope you enjoy stitching this design and feel some of the circular energy and excitement that circus can bring, after all it’s great sometimes to spin off the straight and narrow!
The kit contains:-
Zweigart canvas in 12 count, Anchor tapestry wools (100% wool), John James Needles, Full Stitch Chart and instructions (it's like I'm in the room with you!)
Your resulting masterpiece is approx 32cm square, it's up to you to decide what to do with the stitching once complete. It makes a great accent cushion or thrives on a bag front.
